recip-slice is a Python toolkit for reconstructing and extracting reciprocal-space slices from continuous-rotation electron diffraction (cRED/3D ED) data. It generates virtual zone-axis and arbitrary reciprocal-lattice sections with controlled slice thickness and physically meaningful intensity handling. The project focuses on fast, reproducible visualization and analysis of reciprocal space, with tools for diffraction-image preprocessing, background and detector-artifact correction, resolution control, and publication-quality slice export.
