    ## Fixed

    ## Add
    - checkov
    - Django support in `lint_python` through the optional `django_project` input, with `dry_run` support.
    - Regression tests for `component_coverage.py` and a dedicated CI job to run them.
    - Python and Django test scenarios for the unified `lint_python` component.
    - Child pipelines for `minor_major_tag_release` and `publish_python`, using local HTTP fixtures to test successful operations and expected failures without publishing to GitLab.
    - A sample Python package for publication tests and documentation of the component testing strategy in `tests/README.md`.
    - Django support in `test_pytest` through `django_project`, with the same settings and dependency priority as `lint_python`.
    - JUnit test reports and coverage badges retained after pytest failures when coverage is available.
    - Python and Django regression scenarios, including SQLite database tests, custom settings, test failures and insufficient branch coverage.

    ## Change
    - Factorize the shared child-pipeline trigger configuration and add `checkov`, `minor_major_tag_release` and `publish_python` to the test matrices.
    - Strengthen `git-clone` tests with a local remote pinned to the pipeline SHA, checking the branch, commit and cloned contents.
    - Strengthen `git-commit` tests with changed and unchanged scenarios, checking commit contents and excluding unrelated files; remote pushes remain disabled in tests.
    - Validate input naming, required metadata, supported types, defaults and options in `component_coverage.py`; detect malformed YAML and duplicate keys.
    - Require an exact component reference with a revision in each component's test pipeline.
    - Check every component; replace global exclusions with exceptions only for the missing `work_dir` input in `git-clone`, `git-commit` and `minor_major_tag_release`.

    ## Fix
    - Calculate component compliance from the proportion of components passing all static checks, retaining the 90% threshold.
    - Report all detected component issues in Code Climate format with file locations, line numbers and stable fingerprints.

    ## Breaking changes
    - Remove `lint_django`; migrate its includes to `lint_python` and explicitly set `django_project`. Set `job_name: pylint-django` to retain the former job name.
    - Migrated Django jobs use `pylint-score.svg`, `pylint-report.txt` and the project-default artifact retention. Replace any `LINT_LIMIT` override with `PYLINTSCORE`. See the [migration guide](templates/lint_python/README.md#migration-from-lint_django).
    - `test_pytest.coverage_fail_under` is now a number rather than a string.
    - `test_pytest` now measures branch coverage correctly with `--cov-branch`; existing thresholds may require additional tests.
    - `python_path` prepends to existing `PYTHONPATH`; zero coverage is governed solely by `coverage_fail_under`.
    - See the [test_pytest migration notes](templates/test_pytest/README.md#migration).
