PhotonForge is a modular open-source framework for array-level control of optical emitter systems, designed to treat light as a programmable, coordinated field rather than isolated emitters. It provides tools for simulation, scheduling, real-time execution, feedback control, calibration, and distributed coordination across optical arrays such as VCSELs, laser diodes, and LED matrices. Built with a strong emphasis on modularity and hardware abstraction, PhotonForge enables research and development of next-generation structured light systems from simulation through to real-world deployment.
