Talk notes hold still. talk.js exports hold(el, texts): a figure note renders every reading up front in one grid cell and show(i) picks the one in view, so a note whose text changes per step no longer reflows the page. The CSS is opt-in on .fig-note:has(> .on); plain notes are unchanged.
