In some cases, for example STIR, the LUT is not defined such that the center of the field of view of the scanner is around (0, 0, 0). This is easily dealt with the option `-offset`, thus it is not an issue. However, it would be an improvement in quality of life if the offset could be encoded in the hscan and thus the user no longer need to add it each time.
