git_sync error 128

Hi,

First, thank you for your efforts and bundling all of these items together. I very much appreciate it.

I am a relatively new user to all of this, but I am failing on the make command with "make: *** [git_sync] Error 128". I ahve tried from 3 VMs (2 CentOS 7.6 and 1 Ubuntu 18.04). After running the make command (both with and without sudo) I get prompted for gitlab.com username and password. I enter each, and the error shows after the password. My main account uses the Google Authentication, so I made a separate clean gitlab only login and tried that as well and also failed.

It looks like 2 other people recently got this error already, but those issues were closed with a supposed fix. I just did a fresh git clone about 30 minutes ago and still getting the error on a clean machine.
